University of Manchester volunteers support woodland management

The “Tree Musketeers”, a volunteer group of environmental management students from The University of Manchester come regularly to help out with woodland tasks, bringing energy and enthusiasm.

After a day of cutting willow coppice, the group are here taking a well-earned break. Their contribution makes a real difference during one of the busiest seasons for woodland management.

We’re incredibly grateful for their support and look forward to welcoming them back again in the future.
