Rollins wood is open to all for quiet enjoyment throughout the year. Many local people walk through to Brabyn’s Park.
Getting Here
We are in Marple Bridge on the way to Compstall and Romiley. Buses 383 and 384 go past the entrance. By train, from Marple station you can walk or cycle through Brabyn’s Park to the Iron Bridge and onto Rollins Lane, our boundary.
Find Us
Our entrance is a narrow lane between 33 and 37 Compstall Rd, From Marple, you will pass the Northumberland Arms pub on the right shortly before our entrance on the left with a sign.

Directions
On Foot
Walk through Brabyns Park to the Iron Bridge, continue along Rollins Lane, then turn right by the large oak and up through the oak wood.
By Car
Please park on or off Compstall Road. There is no on-site parking except for disabled – our small car park is for members whose houses back onto the woodland.

- Limited on-street parking is available
- Dogs are welcome on leads, under close control – please pick up!
- Please respect wildlife and other visitors
- Paths may be muddy in wet weather
- Very limited access for wheelchairs.
