Aims and Principles

The aim of Rollins Wood Community is:

To carry on any business for the benefit of the community by maintaining and developing that land known as Rollins Wood and any other land owned, leased or managed by the Society in order to promote and achieve:

(a) conservation and biodiversity;

(b) enjoyment by the community including community events;

(c) education and training, especially in the outdoors;

(d) the growing and production of food;

(e) leisure, health and wellbeing;

(f) traditional crafts appropriate to the land use;

(g) other woodland products;

(h) other activities, including trading, compatible with the above
